Janine brings over 19 years of experience in Mindfulness, the Buddha Dharma, Yin Yoga, Self-Inquiry, and Yang (Vinyasa) Yoga. She is a Dharma Teacher and Endorsed Insight Yoga Teacher (2024), recognised by Sarah and Ty Powers after completing their 500-hour deepening training.
Her teaching weaves together a deep understanding of meditation, depth psychology, and yoga, offering a truly therapeutic and holistic experience. Janine’s approach integrates the body, heart, and mind — creating space for awareness, compassion, and healing.
Alongside her yoga teaching, Janine is a Corporate Mindfulness Facilitator, Licensed Health Coach (Institute for Integrative Nutrition), and holds a Master of Public Health from New York University. She is also a Certified Mental Health First Aider and a Level 1 IFS (Internal Family Systems) Practitioner.
Her teaching philosophy is rooted in supporting bio-individuality — understanding that each student’s path to balance is unique. Through her thoughtful blend of mindfulness and movement, Janine guides students toward deep connection, gentle transformation, and whole-body well-being.
Janine’s Classes
Janine’s weekly class is a mindful blend of meditation, gentle movement, and Yin yoga — an opportunity to soften into presence and reconnect with yourself. Expect a slow, restorative practice that nourishes the nervous system, releases tension, and refreshes body, heart, and mind.
Mats are required, as well as a bolster, blanket, or pillow for the stillness aspects of the class. Each session is a chance to unwind, feel supported, and end the week with a sense of calm and renewal.
