About Monika

Monika began practising yoga in 2012 after moving to Cambridge, and over the years it has become an integral part of her life — a practice of reconnection and inner discovery. In 2021, she completed the Cambridge Barefoot Body Yoga Teacher Training programme, qualifying to teach Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Nidra.

Her classes are rooted in the belief that yoga is not something to strive for, but something to uncover — a way of coming home to ourselves. Monika teaches adults and teens in a variety of settings, always aiming to empower her students to find their own route to well-being.

Alongside her teaching, Monika is a practising artist, working from her home studio in Newnham. Her abstract paintings explore themes of movement, thought, and interconnectedness — the same philosophy she brings to her classes. She continues to study Yogic philosophy, weaving its timeless wisdom into her teaching to inspire curiosity, reflection, and gentle growth.

Monika’s classes offer a thoughtful, grounded practice — perfect whether you’re new to yoga or returning to your mat. Each session honours the shifting seasons of the body and mind, inviting you to move slowly, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself.

Mid-Week Reset

A Hatha-based class designed to help you re-align, refocus, and re-energise. Through steady movement and mindful breath, this mid-week practice helps you overcome the common slump and leave feeling refreshed, centred, and ready for the days ahead.

All About Savasana

A deeply restorative class dedicated to replenishment and release. Expect a floor-based practice combining slow movement, pranayama (breathwork), and supported poses to ease muscle tension and quiet the mind. This is your invitation to stop, rest, and restore — cultivating the calm, relaxed Friday feeling we all need to welcome the weekend.
