These monthly workshops offer an accessible introduction to embodied anatomy—a chance to bring your curiosity to specific locations in your body without needing prior experience or a large time commitment.

Each 90-minute session is tightly focused, inviting you to sense, explore, and get to know that part of yourself through guided somatic inquiry. You'll leave with a deeper felt sense of your own structure, a simple practice to continue at home, and a taste of what embodied learning can offer.

Perfect if you're new to somatic work, curious about a particular area of your body, or simply want to explore anatomy from the inside out.

Due to the depth and scope of each session, these are primarily, but not exclusively, aimed towards trainees and qualified instructors.

12th September: Grounded - The Architecture of Your Feet

A 90-minute exploration of the structure, intelligence, and grounding potential of your feet.

Through guided awareness, self-touch and movement, you'll discover the 26 bones, the four arches, and the heel and ankle foot and discover how these remarkable structures manage your sense of stability and support through their responsive relationship with the earth.

This session is designed for movement professionals and anyone very curious about embodied anatomy, somatic awareness, and what it means to ground.

10th October: Dexterity- The Skill and Grace of Your Hands

A 90-minute exploration of the structure and movement possibilities of your hands.

Through somatic inquiry, self-touch and sequenced movement, you'll attune to the intricate bones, joints, and spiralling motion of your hands, wrists and forearms that transform them into exquisite instruments of expression and support.

This session is designed for movement professionals and anyone very curious about embodied anatomy, manual dexterity, and the fluency of movement possibilities that originate in the hands.

7th November Container: The Fixed Fluidity of your Ribs

A 90-minute exploration of the spacious, responsive architecture of your ribcage.

You'll discover the elegant curves of your ribs and their subtle three-dimensional movement that supports every breath. Through guided awareness, discover how your ribcage creates space for your heart and lungs, responds to the push and pull of breath, and balances your capacity for openness and protection.

This session is designed for movement professionals and anyone very curious about embodied anatomy, breath awareness, and the relationship between structure and capacity.

5th December Fulcrum: The Interplay of Jaw and Spine

A 90-minute exploration of the role of your jaw in spinal integration.

You'll discover the surprising connections between your jaw, skull and spine and through gentle somatic enquiry, you’ll find out how both tensions held and released in your jaw sequence through your whole axis.

This session is designed movement professionals and anyone very curious about embodied anatomy, jaw tension patterns, and the relationship between jaw and spine.

Teacher, facilitator, therapist and author, Beverly Nolan adores to find new ways to think, feel and move through her body with experiential anatomy, somatic practices, and yoga. More than this, she adores sharing skills, practical guides, and creative inspiration with other curious people.

<For more than 35 years, I’ve been exploring the conversation between body, mind, and self, first through the practice of yoga, then deepening into the rich landscapes of experiential anatomy, developmental movement, and Authentic Movement.

Whether you're a yoga teacher wanting to bring more nuance to your work, a somatic coach or therapist exploring embodied approaches, or a curious practitioner reconnecting with your own embodied wisdom, my workshops and courses create space for you to slow down, pay attention, and find new ways to think, feel, and move through your body.>
