What to Expect

Capacity: Strength, Space & Self-Regulation

Life, as Glennon Doyle puts it, is often “brutiful”—and our nervous systems can feel the weight of that. Many of us find ourselves in a quiet loop of overwhelm, overstimulation, and that familiar feeling of being tired but wired.

This 5-week block is designed as a gentle, practical response to that.

Each class will weave together slow, intentional flow with breathwork, mudra, meditation, and simple nervous system tools including  vagal tone work and Kundalini inspired Kriyas both of which are HUGELY  powerful in building a strong, resilient Nervous System.

Some practices will feel deeply calming, others a little more activating—but all are designed to help us build capacity.

Not just to relax, but to develop resilience— the ability to move through different states and return to a place of steadiness with more ease.

Over the weeks, you’ll explore how to better understand our nervous system, expand what we can hold, and cultivate a quieter, more grounded strength within.

Your Instructor

Even after over two decades of practice (her first class was back in 1998), Rachel still feels humbled and amazed by the way yoga continues to evolve and support her. Through every season of life — from pregnancy and motherhood to moments of grief, joy, and quiet celebration — yoga has always offered her a way home.

In her words, “In our often busy, beautifully chaotic lives, practice can offer the sweetest respite — a place to land, to lean back and in.” Rachel’s approach honours both movement and stillness, helping you find strength, calm, and compassion within your own body.

Her teaching is deeply informed by her qualifications in Vinyasa, Pregnancy, Restorative, and Yin Yoga, as well as her experience as a Teacher Trainer with Camyoga and Barefoot Body Yoga. Rachel is also a Certified Health Coach and Menopause Coach, bringing a holistic understanding of well-being to every class she leads.
