About Floss

Floss is a scholar–practitioner of yoga and philosophy whose teaching interlaces the intelligence of the body with the contemplative depth of yogic and philosophical traditions. With roots in Traditional Tantra, Hatha Yoga, and modern Vinyasa, she explores yoga as both an embodied and existential path — a practice of awakening to meaning, presence, and the sacred within everyday life.

Holding a Master’s degree in the Philosophy of Religion from the University of Cambridge, Floss brings a thoughtful, creative, and enquiring approach to practice. Her classes guide students into a landscape of subtle awareness, somatic exploration, and self-inquiry, offering yoga as a living philosophy of transformation and inner connection.

Beyond the mat, Floss is the founder of the Yoga Teacher Community Club (YTCC) Cambridge, host of the Embodying Philosophy as a Way of Life podcast, and leads online courses in the History and Philosophy of Yoga for teachers and practitioners worldwide.

Subtle Body Yoga: The Path to Bliss

A slow, spacious, and deeply somatic practice that blends mindful flow, Supreme Release Yoga (SRY), and reflections from the tantric and yogic traditions. Guided by the principle of subtleisation — the movement from the outer to the inner body — this class journeys from flow into stillness, exploring the body as a vessel of awareness and awakening to inner luminosity.

Expect philosophy and embodied enquiry to be gently woven throughout the session, alongside explorations of sacred anatomy and imagination. A restorative, reflective, and meditative experience, this class offers a soft yet powerful space for presence, reflection, and renewal.

Teaching can be a solitary path — but it doesn’t have to be. The Yoga Teacher Community Club (YTCC) is a dedicated space for teachers of all levels to connect, share experiences, and reflect on both the practice and the profession of yoga.
