About Polly

Polly teaches empowering, uplifting yoga that welcomes all students — blending curiosity, knowledge, and joy into every class. Her approach values learning through wholehearted practice, combining the wisdom of ancient yoga traditions with a deep understanding of functional anatomy.

Polly has trained to an advanced level within the Ghosh lineage, a Hatha methodology informed by Bishnu Charan Ghosh and his community in Kolkata, and continued globally by Yoga Acharyas Ida Jo and Scott Lamps. This rich tradition informs her teaching style, focusing on mindful, sustainable movement and measurable progress.

Her interest in belonging and access within yoga is central to her practice. Polly was recently awarded a first-class grade for her academic paper on Intersectional Equality and the Power Dynamic within Modern Yoga, as part of her degree at Cambridge School of Art — a testament to her thoughtful and socially aware approach.

Since qualifying in 2017, Polly has taught in California, Thailand, New Zealand, and the UK, guiding students in a wide range of settings — from therapeutic environments to festival stages — always with a focus on inclusivity, empowerment, and curiosity.

Polly’s Classes

Polly’s classes draw from the Ghosh method, a therapeutic approach to yoga that emphasises safe, functional movement and long-term strength. Each session focuses on healthy, measurable progress — helping students feel resilient, confident, and capable both on and off the mat.

Through this method, Polly supports her students to explore their own potential, cultivate awareness, and find balance between effort and ease. She believes yoga can be a powerful path to confidence, joy, and self-understanding — one that transforms not only how we move, but how we live.

Expect thoughtful sequencing, mindful alignment, and an empowering environment where every student can feel seen, supported, and inspired.
